You can install and activate WP Ghost Premium on any website within your license limit. Each license plan includes a set number of website slots. To activate on a new site, download the plugin from your WP Ghost Dashboard, install it on the WordPress site, and enter your Activation Token. If you’ve reached your website limit, you can free up a slot by removing an existing site from your account and then activating on the new one.
The website automatically appears in your Connected Sites list in the WP Ghost Dashboard.
If you’ve reached your website limit and need to activate on a new site, first remove an existing site from your account:
Deleting a website resets its paths. When you remove a website from your account, the custom paths on that site revert to WordPress defaults. If you later want to use WP Ghost on that site again, you’ll need to reactivate with a valid token and reconfigure the paths.
Delete vs Block. Deleting removes the website entirely from your account and frees the license slot. If you only want to temporarily revoke access without freeing the slot, use the Block Website option instead.
The number of websites depends on your license plan. Check your Orders / Licenses page to see how many website slots your plan includes and how many are currently in use.
Yes. Your Activation Token works on all sites within your license limit. You don’t need a separate token per site. The token connects each site to your account.
Yes. Any domain connected with the Activation Token uses one website slot, including staging and development sites. If you need to test on staging without using a slot, consider using the free version of WP Ghost for staging environments.
The plugin continues working on all connected sites at the last installed version. You lose access to future updates and priority support, but your security settings and custom paths remain active. See Cancel Your Subscription for full details.
