How To

Register New Google reCAPTCHA V2

Google reCAPTCHA v2 helps protect your website from spam and bots.

Follow these steps to register and set it up:

Access Google reCaptcha

  1. Go to the Google reCAPTCHA Admin Console.
  2. Log in with your Google Account.

Register reCaptcha V2 New Site

  1. Click the + (Create New Site) button at the top-right corner and complete the form.
  • Label: Enter a name for your site. Choose a label that will make it easy for you to identify the site in the future.
  • Select the reCAPTCHA v2 and the “I’m not a robot” Checkbox. The “I’m not a robot” Checkbox requires the user to click a checkbox indicating the user is not a robot.
  • Domains: Enter the domain name on which you want to use the reCAPTCHA, read and accept the terms, and click the Submit button. Do not include “http://” or “https://”.
  • Owners: Add any additional email addresses if needed.

Next, follow the Brute Force instructions from WP Ghost to add the Google reCaptcha V2 widget to your website.
