30-Day Money-Back Guarantee
We offer a full 30-day money-back guarantee on all new purchases. If WP Ghost does not meet your expectations for any reason, you may request a full refund within 30 calendar days of your initial purchase date, no questions asked.
To help ensure compatibility before purchasing, we recommend testing the free version of WP Ghost, available at the WordPress directory, before upgrading to a premium plan. This allows you to verify compatibility with your server, hosting environment, and existing plugins without any financial commitment.
1. Eligibility for a Refund
You are eligible for a refund under the following conditions:
- New purchases: Refund requests must be submitted within 30 calendar days of the original purchase date.
- Annual renewals: Refund requests for annual subscription renewals must be submitted within 24 hours of the renewal charge. We strongly recommend cancelling your subscription before the renewal date if you do not intend to continue. You will receive a renewal reminder email in advance of your billing date.
- Lifetime Deal (LTD) purchases: LTD purchases are eligible for a full refund within 30 calendar days of the original purchase date only. After 30 days, LTD purchases are non-refundable. Pro-rata or partial refunds for LTD plans may be offered at WP Ghost’s sole discretion in exceptional circumstances, such as the enforcement of website connection limits under Section 5 of our Terms of Use.
Refund requests submitted outside these timeframes will not be processed except where required by applicable law.
2. Refund Request Guidelines
Taxes and Fees: Payments are processed by Paddle, who acts as the Merchant of Record for WP Ghost transactions. In some cases, Paddle may apply taxes such as VAT or sales tax, or processing fees, that are non-refundable under their policies or local regulations. When a refund is issued, these non-refundable taxes and fees may be withheld by Paddle and will not be returned to you. WP Ghost does not control these charges and cannot refund amounts retained by Paddle.
Before approving a refund, we may request the opportunity to investigate and resolve any technical issues or concerns you have experienced. Our support team will make reasonable efforts to resolve your issue before processing a refund. If after receiving support assistance you still wish to proceed with a refund, we will honor your request within the applicable timeframe.
Upon approval of a refund:
- Your WP Ghost subscription will be cancelled immediately.
Refund processing times:
- PayPal refunds are typically completed within 24 hours.
- Credit and debit card refunds may take between 5 to 10 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer’s policies.
- WP Ghost is not responsible for delays caused by payment processors or financial institutions.
3. EU Consumer Rights
For customers located in the European Union, the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal applies to digital products under EU Directive 2011/83/EU. However, our 30-day money-back guarantee is more generous than this statutory right and supersedes it in your favor.
By purchasing and activating a WP Ghost product, EU customers acknowledge that delivery of the digital product begins immediately upon purchase and activation.
If you are an EU consumer and your refund request falls outside our standard policy, you may also have the right to seek resolution through your national consumer protection authority or the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
4. How to Submit a Refund Request
To request a refund, please contact us through our official contact form and include the following information:
- Your full name and email address used at purchase.
- Your order number or purchase date.
- The plan or product you purchased.
- A brief explanation of the reason for your refund request.
Our team will review your request and respond within 2 business days. If your request is approved, the refund will be processed promptly in accordance with the timelines described in Section 2.
5. Dispute Escalation
If your refund request is reviewed and denied, and you believe this decision is incorrect, please contact us to escalate your case before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank or card issuer.
We are committed to resolving all disputes fairly and directly. Chargebacks initiated without first exhausting our refund and escalation process may be contested by WP Ghost and could result in the suspension or permanent termination of your account. Repeated or fraudulent chargeback attempts may be reported to payment processors and relevant authorities.
6. Abuse and Misuse
We reserve the right to refuse refund requests and suspend or terminate accounts in cases of:
- Fraudulent purchase or refund activity.
- Abuse of the refund policy, including repeated purchase-and-refund behavior.
- Violation of our Terms of Use.
- Chargebacks initiated without first contacting WP Ghost support.
- Providing false or misleading information in a refund request.
WP Ghost reserves the right to permanently ban accounts found to be abusing our refund policy from making future purchases.
